The Life Summary of Anders
When Anders Christensen was born on 5 October 1862, in Ulsted, Ålborg, Denmark, his father, Christen Thomasen, was 24 and his mother, Christiane Christine Andersdatter, was 20. He married Andrea Vilhelmine Jørgensen in 1890, in Ålborg, Aalborg, Nordjylland, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 6 daughters. He lived in Election Precinct 11, Salt Lake, Utah, United States in 1900 and Salt Lake City Ward 3, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States in 1910. He died on 9 May 1939, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States, at the age of 76, and was buried in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, United States.

I know the birth record for Andrew is right from the 1870 Danish census record I attached, and it is the same birthday as his death certificate just 8 years off. Often the informant of a death certificate has their facts wrong. Also, on Christian Thompson's birth record it says he is illegitimate. Also, it mentions Nils the farmer and cooper that Minnie was living with for 10 months before she had the baby. This man lived in Karup. No wonder I couldn't find a marriage record before!

Just a thought...I was consulting with a native Dane here at the library, and when I told her the story of Christian she said Andrew is not his father. She said most likely the Nils living in Karup is. She mentioned this because often times the steps treat thee stepchildren wrongly, but also in the Danish culture they pay men to be the fathers mentioned on a birth records. Sometimes these women who get pregnant by their employers are beneath them in society or they are married so this happens. She was his servant.
